Privacy and terms
Short, because there is little to say: this site keeps nothing about you, and its pages send nothing anywhere.
In one line: no cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no accounts. What you type into an example page stays in your own browser until you download it yourself.
This site
The site's own pages (this one, the landing page, the tutorial) set no cookies and load no tracking or analytics. They store one thing in your browser, and only if you use the day and night switch: that choice. The videos and pictures come from this site only.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives the usual request data (such as your IP address) when your browser asks for a page. That is GitHub's, under the GitHub General Privacy Statement; we see no visitor data from it.
The review pages
An example page, or any review page an agent sends you, works entirely in your browser and loads nothing from the
network. While you answer, it keeps two things in your browser's own storage (localStorage), for that
page only:
- your answers, notes and pictures, so a reload doesn't lose them;
- your view: Tour or Overview, and which places you folded.
Neither is sent anywhere. Downloading your answers writes a file on your device; sending it to anyone is up to you. Where you clicked is never recorded. To remove what a page kept, clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
Why there is no cookie banner
A banner asks consent for cookies and tracking. There are none. The only thing stored is what an example page needs to keep your own answers while you work, on your device, sent nowhere.
Terms
The software is free and open source. Its licences are the terms: Apache-2.0 for the tools, MIT-0 for the code inside every page (so a page you send carries no obligation), and CC0-1.0 for the protocol and its schemas. See LICENSING.md.
It comes as is, without warranty of any kind, as those licences say. An answered page is unsigned: it shows what was answered, not who answered, and an answer is never permission for an agent to act.
